(ESG) Energy Services Group (ESG) the leading provider of transaction management and billing services for retail energy markets is recruiting for Billing Implementation Analysts to support our outsourced billing offering. Hundreds of energy suppliers, distributors and consumers rely on ESG’s systems to service their energy needs.

Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Documenting client functional requirements and business policies
- Configuring software to meet client requirements and comply with market standards
- Writing and executing detailed test scripts to ensure quality product delivery
- Training end users
- Perform ad-hoc queries and data analysis to identify issues and develop specifications for resolution
- Develop specifications to improve system functionality or operational processes
- Coordinate transaction and billing management of end-customer accounts with clients and local utilities including enrollments, billing, reconciliations, and terminations
- Communicate with client, utilities and internal departments as appropriate to resolve client questions, issues and discrepancies
- Monitor, research and resolve transaction or billing exceptions daily.

To be successful in the position you will need to have:
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience including programming and/or billing operations experience is preferred; experience with energy focused billing operations or systems highly desirable
- Strong preference for candidates with experience implementing/configuring energy Customer Information Systems or Retail Energy Transaction Management systems
- Knowledge of deregulated energy markets, protocols and transaction sets a plus
- Experience with software implementations and ability to grasp new or unfamiliar technologies quickly
- Solid interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively at all levels of an organization both internally and externally
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills and the ability to be highly accurate in a fast-paced, deadline oriented work environment
