Energy Services Group, Inc. (ESG) provides procurement and eCommerce data services to competitive energy market participants across the country.
The Energy Analyst will assist in supporting ESG's sales and business development team, focusing on wholesale energy procurement for large end-users of electricity and natural gas. The Analyst will assist senior team members to help win new business and manage the procurement needs of existing clients. On a daily basis, the Analyst will interact with clients, prospects and related market participants. The Analyst will also perform quantitative analysis to help determine energy procurement strategies for clients and prospects. The Analyst will have the opportunity to develop an extensive knowledge of rapidly growing wholesale energy markets, will be a key member of a growing team and will have access to senior management at ESG.

Primary Responsibilities
- Perform extensive energy consumption and cost analysis
- Interact with clients, prospects and other market participants
- Work closely with members of ESG's sales, business development and operations teams
- Create presentations, proposals and analysis to help win new business
- Perform market analysis and research
- Manage client and partner expectations and requirements as well as offer solutions to client needs

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from four-year college or university in related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in the energy field a plus

- Must be able and willing to collaborate in a team/cooperative environment as well as exercise independent judgment and initiative
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize work load and meet multiple project deadlines
- Extremely detail oriented and strong customer service focus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must pass reference verification
- Be eligible to work in the United States
