AmPro Energy, Inc., a Houston based Retail Electricity Provider (REP), selected Energy Services Group, Inc. (ESG) of Massachusetts to provide Electronic Data Interface (EDI) services in support of their upcoming marketing efforts in Texas. As part of the relationship, ESG will administer AmPro Energy's testing and certification with ERCOT and Texas Distribution companies. ESG will provide AmPro Energy with systems interfaces, integration support, and operations management of AmPro Energy's daily volume of transactions required for enrollment and billing of customers in the Texas market. AmPro Energy will utilize ESG's Market Portal™ (MP) to support the various business partners and to meet reporting requirements of the Public Utilities Commission of Texas.
The CMP, a web interface developed and operated by ESG, lets AmPro Energy manage their electronic business transactions in much less time and at far lower costs than conventional EDI interfaces.
