Conservation Services Group, a supplier of renewable energy and energy efficiency services, has selected Energy Services Group to provide transaction processing for consolidated billing in support of the National Grid renewable energy program. The new program which commences on September 30th will allow Massachusetts Electric and Narragansett Electric customers to specify an energy service which is tied to environmentally friendly energy generation such as landfill gas, biomass, solar, geothermal, and fuel cells.
Energy Services Group, the market leading provider of billing and back office services for energy companies, will provide renewable energy supplier certification as well as ongoing transaction processing services for Conservation Services Group's customers.
Conservation Services Group of Westborough, Massachusetts owns and sells the output of renewable energy assets. Conservation Services Group currently provides National Grid with the renewable energy mandated to augment the default and standard offer energy service.
