ESG Announces Successful Certification of 19 Clients to New ERCOT Transaction Protocols

Energy Services Group, the leading provider of billing and transaction management services for energy companies, recently certified 19 Texas clients to the new ERCOT protocol standard referred to as Texas Secure Electronic Transactions (TXSET v. 1.5). The protocol upgrade is the culmination of over 9 months of effort on behalf of the market participants to mitigate many of the data anomalies encountered in the first two years of the Texas Electric Choice Program.

ESG represents 17 of ERCOT's retail electric providers and the first two cooperative distribution companies to opt into the ERCOT competitive market.
