Tara Energy, a new competitive energy retailer in the deregulated retail electricity markets in Texas, has selected Energy Services Group (ESG) as its provider of Electronic Business Transaction Processing Services in the deregulated Texas electricity market. The relationship with ESG ensures Tara Energy's readiness to provide its customers reliable billing and business transaction processing services. ESG conducted Flight 0702 electronic data interchange (EDI) testing and certification on behalf of Tara Energy with the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT). Certification was completed in August 2002.
